Leider habe ich deine Antwort auf meine erste Postkarte noch nicht bekommen. Vielleicht hat sie dich nicht erreicht, und deshalb habe ich noch keine Antwort erhalten. Sicher begrüßt auch du unsere Freundschaft, die darauf basiert, daß wir unsere gegenseitige Bekanntschaft schätzen und auf die Möglichkeit eines sicheren Lebens für unsere beiden Völker hinarbeiten. Und Kriege verurteilen, die nichts als Zerstörung und Entbehrungen für unsere Völker mit sich bringen. Ich möchte dich gerne bald kennenlernen. Wie du gerne möchtest.
Das Bild auf der Rückseite der Karte ist ein Wandbild, das ich entworfen habe und auf die Wand einer der Schulen der Stadt gemalt habe.

I feel sorry that I’ve not received your answer to my first postcard. It may haven’t reached you that I haven’t got an answer. So, surely welcome our friendship which is fond on our loving of being acquainted to each other and working towards confirming the possibility of a safe life between our two peoples. And dismissing wars that do not bring about but destruction and deprivation for both of our peoples. I’d like to be introduced to you soon. In any way you like it.
