	The realisation of the schlafhaus was only made possible because of the help and interest of a great many friends and associates. The unique method of design enabled us to find sponsors for all elements of construction. We were able to utilize the new technology of wood cutting plotters (which effortlessly cut the whole structure directly from CAD-files) and the old technology of fabric coverings (similar to older aircraft and zeppelin design). As Marco said, "we can do with these complicated forms easily and for the money that the ´deconstructivists´ are building in a complicated and costly manner".Before the invention of the wood-plotter (of which there are only three worldwide) it was impossible to do those large curved structures cheaply; too many carpenters worked for too long.
