About the stone It is a granito de Parga. A "soft" granito. A good stone to work in. At this moment I am struggeling to get it the way I wanted it to be. When the stone came out of the mountains it had a square form but a natural look. After the cutting the shapes and surface looked hard. I work by hand, don't have machines. The shapes are becoming softer, the volumes more alive. This stone is not nice to feel when it is not polished. It is rough and harsh. The rain made the pieces on the ground like the wet sand of the beach.
